Saber Interactive is a global developer and publisher of a diverse lineup of video games including World War Z, Evil Dead the Game, SnowRunner and many others to be announced. Established in 2001 and recently acquired by Embracer Group, Saber is building and bolstering our internal publishing team and we are looking for a talented and dedicated Lead Video Producer to join our ranks.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as lead producer of trailers, gameplay videos, video ad units, live streams, and more for all Saber-published games
  • Ensuring high-quality production value and quality control across all Saber video content
  • Working remotely with internal resources located across our international studios including our video capture teams, music composer, voice over directors and more
  • Working with, sourcing and commissioning external resources, from full-service agencies to freelancers as needed such as editors, motion graphics artists etc
  • Pitching and proposing creative video concepts at the campaign planning stages
  • Consulting with and assisting our worldwide Saber studios to help add production value to their self-produced video projects
  • Serve as our internal video expert on everything from content trends to best practices to compression standards and more


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience producing professional video content in the video games industry, whether on the publisher/developer side or editorial
  • A strong portfolio of polished video productions that includes some if not all of the following: inspiring video game trailers, narrated or hosted editorial gameplay videos, longform showcases, advertising spots, live streams
  • An amazing eye and sense of composition, pacing, movement and structure and an impeccable ear for sound mix and design
  • First-hand editing skills
  • Strong writing skills including creative writing abilities to help craft compelling scripts
  • An inspired creative sense to help bring concepts to the table at the marketing planning stages
  • Expert ability with editing programs such as Premiere, Final Cut Pro, as well as Avid
  • Experience with motion and static graphic programs such as After Effects, Nuke, Photoshop
  • Strong familiarity with VOD and streaming content platforms: YouTube, Twitch and Facebook
  • Strong familiarity with video capture and streaming hardware and software, such as OBS, Elgato, Blackmagic, TriCaster
  • Familiarity with video game debug build camera tools and Unreal Engine a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders


This is a flexible remote work position; however, New York tri-state metro area is preferred.
